Pilates instructor
Kay initially trained as a Pilates instructor in 2002 to compliment the Personal Training she was doing to provide maximum benefit for the client through correct postural alignment form and technique.
Kay is passionate about improving the Health and Wellbeing of all her clients and this led her to complete a range of specialist qualifications. To include; GP Exercise Referral, Phase IV Cardiac Exercise Instructor, Falls Prevention for the Elderly and Behavioural Change.
In 2009 due to a change in personal circumstances she took a slightly different path working in Public Health managing rather than delivering projects around health and well being. More recently and after having children in 2014 and 2016 she started a small health and fitness business getting back to her roots, delivering Pilates classes, HiiT training, Buggy fitness classes for new mums and Personal Training.
Consequently this has reignited her love of Pilates and led to Kay completing her BCP conversion course in 2018 and the beginning of a new era of training and learning to be the best she can be and ultimately help her clients to their fullest potential, whether for functional daily activities or sports specific.
