Jules Tuff

Pilates instructor

Jules Tuff A former translator who spent a frustrating amount of time seated in front of two screens, I have always loved moving to compensate. I am a lifelong dog owner, gardener and walker. I enjoy cycling, outdoor swimming and long distance walking. I am currently completing the South West Coast Path and credit Pilates for keeping my knees and hips stable and strong enough to cope with the rugged terrain and the long days. I love cooking, travel and reading too.

I have completed an extensive 700+ hours (14 months) of training with the Pilates Foundation (One of the UK's leading Pilates training providors) and am a fully-qualified mat teacher. My training involved in-depth anatomy study, pathology (osteoporosis, spinal issues) and in-depth training on how to modify standard Pilates moves to make them accessible to everybody.

I am an enthusiastic and inclusive Pilates teacher who came to this practice in my late 40s. I use major Pilates principles in my teaching offering enjoyable fun and inclusive classes for all ages.
